WELCOME HOME, ALEX

We woke up at 5am to drive to Tucson and pick up Alex from prison.

On our way there we get a call from family that online it reads that the DOC changed his release date to October 17th. The moment that phone call ended we started praying. Praying that this would be a mistake. Asking God to move mightily, that Alex’s release date wouldn’t change. We continued driving and arrived at the prison, trying to find the unit that we need to pick him up at.

We finally found the spot and walk up to the door, only to find a sign that says we are apparently 1.5 hours early from when we can pick up. Then an officer walks up to us and asks us who we are looking for. We tell him, Jimenez, and he walks over to his van and Alex jumps out. The rest of the day was filled with tears and rejoicing. Alex is home, alive and safe. I invite you to continue to pray with and for Alex, that God would continue to restore and redeem his life as the journey goes on.

Welcome home, Alex.
